Byron Soulopoulos spent his childhood years fiddling and exploring the vast domain of computers and at the tender age of 12 he already demonstrated great aptitudes of a future professional within this area. However, it was only after his scholar years that his career in ICT sprouted.

To fulfill this passion, he worked at the first Belgian Cyber cafe, where a regular visitor acknowledged his skills and immediately invited him to collaborate with his company, EDS. Over 2 years, as one of EDS system engineers, Byron undertook and accomplished several challenges acquiring a valuable and vast experience in System Engineering. During this period at Electronic Data Systems he followed the Microsoft training track and achieved the status of Microsoft Professional.

A year later, Vintage Productions hired him as, one of the youngest, ICT Managers where most of the tasks performed were amongst the network environment (incl. Intranet & Internet). Being an ambitious and dynamic person, Byron was determined to begin his own business and in October 1998 "Byron Consulting BVBA" was established. Thereafter, a new experience as an ICT freelancer was underway.

In October 1999 "EURICA sa" was established being the first European Information Consulting Association. In 2002 Byron was awarded the "Postuniversitair programma: Project Management (PMI, PMBoK)" for his achievements at EHSAL Management School. In 2004 he added the "Postuniversitair programma: Bedrijfskunde (Business Knowledge)" and "Master in Industrial Corporate Policy" to his curriculum.

He has received the "Most Innovative People Award for Most Inspiring Ideas" on the World Summit on Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Dubai.

Byron is also Past-President of the Vlaamse Management Associatie (VMA) Young Managers.

Sports and Leisure 
He enjoys the game of golf for fun and joy. If the weather permits it he loves to go sailing. He loves to travel and if there is an opportunity to go scuba diving, water-skiing or swimming he'll take it.
